About
Amidst is designed to help enhance the process of finding structures, biomes, and players in minecraft.
By accessing your minecraft files, it’s able to draw the biomes of the world out and show where points of interest are likely to be.
What AMIDST can do.
- Find Strongholds
- Find Villages
- Map Biomes
- Move Players
- Save an image of the map
- Dynamically load data based on the current verison of minecraft you have installed
What AMIDST can’t do.
- Show things you’ve built
- Give you a height map
- Judge you

When launched, it says “Update Found” and will try to open minecraftforum.net. Apparently there’s malware on that site. does anyone know if updating AMIDST from there is ok to do?

Nice additions would be
* Remove village/player/stronghold symbols
for printing, without those effects.
* a calculator for nether holds to give not only
nether world position, but real world position
(x8 in X and Z)
* a switch to show real world positions of netherholds and its height, so you can build a portal/base in exactly the right spot
EG: Find a village, where you can create a portal directly into an associated nether fortress.
At the moment map does not aline the two.
