A few days ago, it was possible to get the 1.3.2 update for bug-testing: now it is fully live! Be sure to update your Minecraft client from the launcher – it should prompt to update automatically, but if it does not, you can update manually from the launcher itself. Simply press the Options button on the opening screen, then “Force Update” in the menu that pops up. Easy!
The 1.3.2 update mainly consists of bug-fixes – two in particular being the random suffocation bug, and randomly falling out of the nether – no new features were added in 1.3.2 beyond that.
But…What About the Snapshot?!
This week’s Snapshot was put on hold, to avoid confusion between a Snapshot test release, and the patch that went live today. Still, if you’d like something to whet your appetite for updates in the interim, Mojang’s own Dinnerbone has something for you to chew on:

Also, this teaser image from Jeb, fresh from the presses – possible future invisibility?

Changelogs:
- Added sideways logs in trees
- Fixed a bug that caused players to fall out of the world when going into the Nether
- Fixed a bug that caused random suffocation damage in water

Minecraft for Windows
Download Minecraft.exe (270 KB). Place it anywhere you want, then run it.
Minecraft for Mac OS X
Download Minecraft.zip (270 KB). Unpack and place Minecraft in your /Applications folder.
Minecraft for Linux / Other
Download minecraft.jar (89 KB). The jar is executable and might work as-is. If you run into memory issues, try launching it with java -Xmx1024M -Xms512M -cp Minecraft.jar net.minecraft.LauncherFrame, also please use Sun’s JVM.
Multiplayer Server
If you’re running on Windows and just want to set up a server easily, download Minecraft_Server.exe (802 KB) and run it.
If you want to run the server on any other OS or without GUI it’s a bit more involved (see this wiki article for a tutorial). First make sure you can use java from the command line. On Linux and Mac OS X this should already be set up but on Windows you might have to tinker with the PATH environment variable. Download and run minecraft_server.jar (621 KB) with java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraft_server.jar nogui.

Guys,
First: This is the Minecraft.exe (launcher)…
Second: The launcher will force update automatically, so if you want to go from 1.4.2 to 1.3.2, it won’t work.
If you guys are looking for a Minecraft 1.3.2 version, search for the ‘.minecraft’ folder.

um, dude, when you try to un-update, you can’t just re-install minecraft, because it automatically updates to the current version, 1.4. you might want to try googling how to revert to 1.3.2.
